About Me

I am a self-taught Mexican artist. My work—ranging from murals to sculpture and mixed media—is a journey back to my roots. I focus on using organic Mexican materials to bring the textures, earth, and soul of my culture into a contemporary space. For me, every piece is a conversation between my heritage and the world around me.

My path has taken me all over Mexico, from the desert of Los Cabos to the streets of San Miguel de Allende and the energy of Mexico City. These experiences opened doors to incredible global projects, such as collaborating for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and working with United Airlines, and creating bespoke art for hospitality groups like Soho House, Casa Xolo, Grupo Vanko, and Puerto Raíz, as well as for leaders in other industries, including chef David Burke, boxer Mike Tyson, and jewelry designer Jonathan Sánchez.

In recent years, I’ve had the opportunity to share my vision in the United States, exhibiting my work at:

ABISMO SERIES EXHIBITED AT

This series of paintings explores the concept of the abyss—an overwhelming space we all confront when facing deep pain and intense emotions. For me, the abyss is more than just darkness or emptiness; it’s a place where fear, sadness, and anger are magnified. Through these works, I seek to capture the internal struggle of looking into this abyss without allowing it to consume us. Each painting reflects the tension between chaos and control, vulnerability and strength, showing how emotions can expand and engulf us, yet also how moments of light and clarity emerge, offering a way out.

The series isn’t about denying suffering but learning to live with it, to understand it without being overtaken. It’s about choosing not to become the abyss, but instead, looking within, acknowledging our fragility, and finding healing through that process. Ultimately, it’s a reflection on how we can face our deepest pain and emerge from it, not defined by it, but empowered through the journey.

The paintings are inspired in the 4 elements, using mixed techniques with 100% organic mexican textiles .

Each piece is described as an affair with someone... it is a very unique and intimate experience.

(earth)

This piece is a representation of Earth, symbolizing a womb...we all come from mother earth. Mixing warm colors and gold leaves on a granite background and tussor black pieces.

AGUA

(water)

This piece is made on a manta corrugada background, with cold colors that represent the mystery of the ocean. An invitation to wide open to the idea of the unknown. With gold leaves, yute and tussor textiles.

FUEGO

(fire)

This piece is made on manta layers background, with very warm colors that represent the fire and guts inside of every human. The guts as the gold leaves and like a phoenix, the calling people have and the courage to go for.

AIRE

(air)

This piece is made on a manta background with yute and tussor applies, made in vibrant colors that inspires to be brave and brake free. Choose not to be scared.

The mask collection is inspired in the Mexican culture made all by 100% organic materials, about a legend of a wizard character called "Brujo" who has a mystical power for changing forms from human to animals and viceversa.

Represented in masks, is a reflexion of the many faces that we have or the many characters people around us are use to play everyday.

MATERIALS

100% NATURAL ORGANIC MEXICAN MATERIALS

Ixtle (from Nahuatl ichtli 'ixtle') is a vegetable fiber known for its resistance, which has been used in Mexico since ancient times, being a fundamental part of the Mexican economy and culture over the years. It comes mainly from the lechuguilla agave, a plant known for being the most used in ancient times, its fibers were used as textile fibers and its spines as needles.

Barro Rojo Clay is a sedimentary rock composed of aggregates of hydrated aluminum silicates from the decomposition of rocks that contain feldspar, such as granite. It presents various colors depending on the impurities it contains, from red-orange to white

Palma Palm is the leaf of the palm tree, from Colón a small town near from Querétaro City.

Manta Is the most traditional fabric in Mexico made of 100% pure cotton. This type of fabric is completely ecological, since its production does not use chemical components that are harmful to the environment.

Tussor Is a material that requires special treatment:

-Decatized: It is an industrial washing process that serves to remove the initial starch from the fabric and adapt the material to future washings.

-Sanforized: It is a heat drying process that prevents the fabric from shrinking when washed.

Tussor is a 100% cotton fabric.

Yute El yute es una fibra natural larga, suave y brillante que se extrae de la corteza de la planta vegetal del yute.

Zacate It comes from the Nahuatl “zacatl” and means grass, pasture or fodder. The plant must be cultivated and the fruits allowed to ripen in a period of 150 to 200 warm days, until they turn yellow or brown. After this they are peeled and the mass of fibrous tissue located inside is exposed.

Granite: 100% cotton textile .
